Hertha Berlin are relegated as they draw 1-1 with Bochum after a 94th minute equaliser, whilst Stuttgart win 4-1 against Mainz to leap out of the relegation places at Schalke's expense. In the Zweite, Darmstadt are promoted back to the Bundesliga following a 1-0 win against Magdeburg, Heidenheim hold onto second but HSV keep up, whilst Sandhausen are relegated, and Bielefeld spill a chance to get out of the relegation play-off spot.
