Description

Alex reviews the 2022 edition of the Tour de France in less depth than he wanted thanks to everything going wrong, except the racing itself in what might have been the best Tour in decades. Jonas Vingegaard is the new champion after doing the impossible in beating two-time champ Tadej Pogačar, Wout van Vert completely dominates in the green jersey competition, and Simon Geschke suffers late heartbreak in the King of the Mountains battle. In the pod, all the stages that mattered: including a lengthy look at Denmark and Magnus Cort, stage 5's cobbles, stage 11's monumental shift in cycling, and stage 18's handshake moment. Also on the pod: G's gilet, a breakaway on stage 21, and the only thing that actually mattered, A TOM PIDCOCK WIN ON ALPE D'HUEZ!!!
