The Kings beat the Rockets twice in the Toyota Center in the span of 2 days. Of course it goes without saying, it's always good to win games. But these 2 games have made us question that belief. Why? Well the Kings had to fight down to wire in both games to win, against a team that is clearly tanking and rolling out a bunch of inexperienced young guys. With a Kings team with the exception of Davion Mitchell and Neemias Queta (who didn't play), they are filled with a rotation of seasoned vets and should demolish this Rockets team on paper. But they didn't, and it's a cause for concern going forward.

The Kings won these 2 battles, but are losing the war. What these 2 games have shown that this team is neither good enough to destroy a bad team like the Rockets, nor would they be good enough to stand against a competent NBA team. Unless they get lucky in the lottery or pull off a big trade, this team likely is going to continue to float in NBA purgatory next season, or as better known in Sacramento, Basketball Hell.
