Good intentions do indeed pave the road to pain and suffering and not just your own - you pass it on to your children and they will pass it on to their children until someone gets sick of it and says yeah, no I don't think so. Then it changes.
A patron and I had a lovely conversation about this and a couple of the examples used came from that conversation and I hope they help. That patron is really a wonder!
Peer pressure is not allowed - at all. If anyone is pressuring you then the answer is no - it's coming from the head not the heart.
