We all do it when we talk to ourselves. Because. The answer is because I AM. Because it's all God. Consciousness. Anything else is you trying to justify whatever it is. I love him because and you list the secondary attributes of God - he makes me laugh, he is a joy, he is patient, kind, understanding.
Or I want THAT because I deserve it. There is nothing to deserve. It's all God. It's all life. When you say you deserve it then you are saying you have done something that shows you earned it.
