In the book of Acts, Peter began to preach in the Temple about Jesus Christ. The high priest and others forbade him entrance to speak in Jesus name. The boldness inspired by the Holy Spirit led him to follow the message from God and speak. When an "Angel of the lord" instructs you, Remember, Obedience is better than sacrifice. The high priest was furious after hearing the Apostles were no-longer in prison, and at the temple speaking about Jesus, The sick placed in the streets being healed and peter saying, We ought to obey God rather than man. The ministry of Jesus began on a high note with many believing, being healed and joining the movement for Christ. Just as it was proclaimed over the ages when the Son of man comes he will make the crooked ways straight, and the rough ways smooth. Are you on the straight and smooth road to God?
