Description

Using the call of Abram in Genesis 12 and the journey of Abraham in Genesis 20, Dr. Mark E. Shaw teaches that sometimes our lies, deception, and withholding of truth are clues that lead to what it is we might be afraid of. The heart struggles within a believer may still motivate the decisions of an unbeliever. Dr. Shaw encourages transparency in struggles as the best way to overcome a heart of addiction. "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom," so fear and trust God, over the lies we believe. Rather than living for self, glorify God and find the joy of the transformation process.
