Special guest Kirby Johnson joins Mark Shaw on today’s podcast! Kirby was an addict and now is a redeemed follower of Jesus. The Lord did amazing things in his life, using a biblical residential program in Washington as the main area of growth in his life — not only recovering, but also being transformed from the inside out.
Today, he is working toward becoming a Commissioned Addictions Biblical Counselor through TAC's relational disciple-making process. He also serves in a variety of ways in his church, in small groups for those caught in addiction, and counsels others regularly. Counseling is his biggest passion – he desires to share with others the same hope that he has found in Christ!
Kirby’s life verse is 2 Cor 5:21 which says: For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
