Dr. Richard Harris is an anesthesiologist and professional cave diver who trained in Australia, the UK, and New Zealand. He has worked in diving and aviation medicine around the world. In 2019, Dr. Harris was named Australian of the Year in recognition of the role he played in helping orchestrate the rescue of a soccer team and their coach who were trapped in the Tham Luang Cave in Thailand.
