Episode 54 and my guest today is Robert Farrelly - one of life's great adventurers in every aspect of the word. I met Robert on one of my Camino trips years ago and we have met along many a trail since then. His laid back attitude to life and sense of humour is what draws people to him and I am so delighted to share some of his story with you today.
Not only has he started his own podcast - Mountain to Glen in the last year, this year he is embarking on climbing all of the highest points in Ireland county by county. A lover of the outdoors, he shares with us the many benefits of climbing the hills and exploring the world one step at a time. He shares with us how his connection with nature and living in the moment has helped him through some difficult times in his own life.
Robert is also a volunteer with the Glen of Imall Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and involved with amateur dramatics for many years.
