Description

My guest today is Concepta McNamara, Irish born and now living in the U.S.
Concepta shares with us some of her own story, a young girl's experience growing up in abject poverty, her move to America, her journey through intensive therapy, self-discovery, forgiveness and ultimately finding freedom she fought so hard for.
We talk about shame, guilt, vulnerability, abandonment issues, finding a space to breathe and developing relationships.
Her book Freedom/Saoirse is a true account of abuse, addiction and victory. I read Concepta's story and felt every word touch my heart, this little girl wanted nothing more than to be seen and heard. You can purchase a copy through Amazon
