This week we're participating in the #podcastblackout to help raise awareness for the Black Lives Matter movement! In this episode, we briefly discuss our privilege as white people (more to come on that, since this work is ONGOING) and why we thought it was important to participate, as well as read out a short list of names of black folx who have been murdered by the police in the United States. We wrap up with a call to action for our white peers, and a reminder that anti-blackness is not tied to one particular country - silence is complicity and we all have a part to play! Now is not the time to remain neutral.
