We're back after a hiatus with our review of the heartwarming yet heartwrenching Miracle in Cell No. 7. The film follows the story of a mentally handicapped single father, who is imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit, and the friendships he and his daughter develop with his cellmates. Miracle is based on a true story and highlights the faults in the Korean justice system.
Ryu Seung Ryung stars as single father, Lee Yong Gu. Kal So Won plays his daughter, Lee Ye Sung as a child, while Park Shin Hye plays her as an adult. The rest of the ensemble cast includes Oh Dal Su, Jung Jin Young, Park Won Sang, Kim Jung Tae, & Jung Man Sik.
