We are thrilled at the latest adventure movie that shows a superhero discovering his new abilities. But often we overlook the fact that God is accomplishing a similar work in us through the testing of our faith. It is no wonder that the Apostle say that the testing of our faith is more precious than gold. The testing is not to prove God, but to prove you! You don't know who you are in Christ until you have been tested. Your purpose, your blessing and your Barak must be tested to prove who you are. We find that when Saul was tested, he proved NOT to be a king at heart, but when David was tested, he proved to be a long at heart. God has to put demands on you so that you can discover who He has made you to be.
