29. You Have a Glorious Future

Description

The sons of Korah wrote,

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way…” [Psalm 46:1-2]

For the sons of Korah this wasn’t a poetic description, it was a literal declaration based on their heritage.

These people of praise did not hold in reverence the trauma of their past because they were fully captivated by their Refuge.

They knew that even if the events of their past happened again, they had a very present help and a glorious future.
