Week 13, baby ! (s/o to Lex )
Okay y'all- so this the week you might hear us argue a little bit (but you know Mercury is in microbraid and such so communication was bound to be affected ). Lex, Tay, & Shan discuss the Noname v. J. Cole drama & relate it to the overall divide when it comes to Black men and Black women during this revolutionary time in particular. Do women go harder for the men than they receive in return ? Is it a women's duty to educate men on such matters ? Can our harsh approach/tone deter from the message and do more harm than good ? Alot to unpack there, but a much needed conversation within our community. We later switch gears to discuss gift giving & whether matching energy is effective or not.
