Description

In 1934, a dispute over the construction of a gas station led to a heated argument and an almost physical fight, between future national heroes of Jamaica: then KSAC councillor, Marcus Garvey, and the then most sought off lawyer in the country, Norman Manley. Even before that, both men would meet in a legal issue where Garvey was alleged to have been married to two women at the same time, a fact unknown to both “wives”.
