Once again, we miss Issa and the crew, BUT Molly and Drew really held things down in this episode. Following the altercation with Issa after the Block Party our new fav couple gets a change of scenery. We are like flies on a wall during their first “baecation” to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with Drew’s brother, Victor, and his wife, Lydia. The trip is a blast from the start with Molly - maybe - joining the mile high club en route to Mexico. But salt truck Molly made an appearance when she had a disagreement with an overzealous, and possibly - well, likely - racist hotel employee. Molly takes it a step too far when she proves anyone can get them words by going toe-to-toe with Drew’s brother, Mr. Devil’s Advocate. Drew is the real MVP in this episode. Not only does he eat the cake like groceries, Drew also remains level-headed and unbothered through it all and manages to diffuse a few salt dumps from Molly so that everyone can have a good time, even if they have to do so separately. In a brief moment of clarity, Molly reaches out to her therapist for an emergency session when she realizes she’s being too petty and having trouble letting things go. Sexy ass Lawrence who’s been MIA for about 2 months makes a quick - and delicious - appearance looking like an entire snack thanks to his fresh lining and steady income.
TELL US: Drew seems to have the patience of a Saint, but will Molly push him away? Will we see a rekindled love affair between Lawrence and Issa next episode? And WTF is LaToya?!
