Ezra 9-10
In the final movement of this book, Ezra discovers that the people have been living against what the Lord has commanded. He begins by being impacted personally and bringing it before the Lord. Then he brought it to the people and upon hearing where they had misaligned their lives, they responded in repentance, which included significant action reflecting their change in heart. Though this text is not prescriptive, it demonstrates how we are to respond to God convicting us where our lives are dysfunctional by His standards.
