2 Peter 3:1-18
The end of this era is coming. Peter is preparing the exiles to be ready for their King to come. We are waiting for His promise of new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells. Waiting is an active posture, whereby we want to help prepare others for the coming of Jesus as well. The Lord will ensure that His promises are fulfilled at just the right time.
