Homily given on the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C) at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Clarendon, VA on Sunday, August 11, 2019 (10:30 am Mass).
Mass Readings were as follows:
- Wisdom 18:6-9
- Psalm 33 -- "Blessed the people the Lord has chosen to be His own"
- Hebrews 11:1-2, 8-9 -- "Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen."
- Luke 12:32-48 -- "Do not be afraid any longer, little flock,...Gird your loins and light your lamps."
