Description

Did you know that today is Mental Health Action Day? It's a day that aims to move you from awareness to action and encourages you to take the first step in building resilience — whether that's seeing a therapist, joining a peer support group, starting a meditation practice, or reaching out to a friend. Make sure to check out their site here for more info on how you can get started.

How do you usually release your anger? Have you identified ways to work through anger and frustration, or do you find yourself bottling them up? In today's episode, Coach Colette discusses the distinction between minor daily frustrations and more sustained or systemic issues. She also validates the anger that many people of color feel towards ongoing racial violence and oppression, anger that is often gaslit by others and the media. Coach Colette provides some advice to help you release your anger through different activities and movements, learn and identify your triggers, and ask for help.
