2nd year Sports Management and Coaching Student Ciaran O’Sullivan joins Kelly for Episode 10. Ciaran talks about his love for football and an injury he picked up ‘osteitis pubis’ which meant he was out of any sporting action for 20 months. During the months of recovery his mental health took a huge hit and he speaks about the mental and physical challenges he had to overcome, along with setbacks during his rehabilitation. From thinking he may not play football again to that physiological readiness to get back to action. He has since joined Leixlip United and plays for our men’s Premier Division Football team in TU Dublin Blanchardstown and talks about finding his love for football again from the support he received.
