Join Dan as he talks with Colin Mccabe and Daniel McKenna, goalkeeper and captain of our Men's Soccer 1st Team and Elite Scholarship students. Colin and Daniel currently play for Shelbourne FC in the League of Ireland Premier Division, with both previously playing professionally abroad in Scotland and England with Celtic and Wolves respectively. Dan chats with the lads about their time abroad: leaving home at 16 years of age and living in a different country, having to mature quickly, going on loan, "chasing the dream" and more. They discuss coming home to play in the #GreatestLeagueInTheWorld, the feeling of "failure", going back to education and playing Third Level Football in the cage. Colin and Daniel also give us an overview of their time with Shels to date, including winning the First Division in 2019 and getting promoted back to the Premier Division and how they're continuing to work hard off the pitch during isolation.
