Join Kelly as she speaks to Aimee Clarke, 3rd year Sports Management and Coaching Student and one of our High Performance Scholarship recipients for women’s rugby. Aimee talks about her transition from dancing to starting Rugby at 18 years old. Now 21, Aimee has played with Leinster in the Interpros and represented Ireland in Aussie Rules. She speaks about the challenges she faced with injuries and how she stayed motivated. Aimee also gives us an overview on how she feels the 20x20 campaign has helped ‘women in sport’ and in particular Women’s Rugby.
