Join Ryan as he chats with Bray Wanderers striker and TU Dublin elite scholarship student Rob Manley. Rob is in his final year in TU Dublin Blanchardstown studying International Business.
He has also had an impressive career in the League of Ireland to date in terms of both individual and team awards. In 2019, Rob was named the PFAI SSE Airtricity League First Division Player of the Year and finished the season as the league's top goal scorer. He was also part of the Blanchardstown squad that won the CUFL Division 1 title that year, earning promotion to the top flight of third level football. Rob continued this form into the 2020 season after moving from Cabinteely FC to Longford Town FC where they won promotion to SSE Airtricity League Premier Division in which he scored the match winner in the play-off final.
This is Rob's second appearance on the podcast as he chats about his experiences in football as well as college life in Blanchardstown. He also discusses his new move to Bray Wanderers/Cabinteely FC and linking back up with his former manager Pat Devlin for the upcoming SSE Airtricity League First Division season.
