0:01 Mea's special-needs son flooded her bathroom this morning, destroying her ceiling and floor with water damage
• Mea has no way to pay for the water damage. A UBI would allow her to weather this crisis.
• Andrew Yang has two children, one of whom is autistic.
• Basic Income recognizes the labor value of currently-unpaid childcare, doubly so for childcare of special-needs children
• EBT can't pay for a leaky roof
• There are no persons with the qualifications to watch Mea's special-needs son within three hours of her home. If she had the money to move, she would; a Universal Basic Income would solve that dilemma. EBT and other limited forms of welfare do not.
• UBI would allow Mea to invest in modifying her house for the safety and security of her special-needs child

• our system runs on manufactured scarcity
• humans have an innate need to contribute to the progress and prosperity of the entire human species
• Many people, especially men, use video games to feel a sense of accomplishment, because meaningful accomplishment in the real world has been stifled by economic conditions
• basic income could be thought of as a daily login bonus for participating in American capitalism
• Money is required to have access to law
• Americans are unpaid shareholders of the American government.
• Become the aliens we want to meet
• UBI is the simple solution to our economic fears.
