On this edition of The Sports King Show, we recap the past weekend and the start of Pre-Season Major League Baseball and how some of the teams fared over the weekend. We talk with great excitement about this Thursday's start to the Major Baseball Season with the New York Yankees at the Washington Nationals starting at 7pm and then the San Francisco Giants vs the Los Angeles Dodgers at 10pm.

We also go over all of the teams starting pitching match-ups for Friday which will be the first day all teams are in action simultaneously. We talk about Nascars Austin Dillon winning the O'Reilly Autoparts 500 over the weekend in Texas. We also talk about PGA Pro John Rahm winning the Memorial golf tournament at Muirfield Village home to Jack Nicklaus's home tournament. We close out the Hour One segment with news and notes.

In Hour Two we open up with news from around the NFL including the Las Vegas Raiders Owner Mark Davis who said he is prepared to have no football played in his brand new state of the art stadium home field called Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders have sold out every game and every seat but they may not allow a single fan to attend a game due to the Coronavirus.

We welcome back to the show Washington Capitals play by play man Joe Beninati who discussed getting back behind the microphone after nearly 5 months away. Joe talks about his broadcasting schedule and that he is also doing pro Lacrosse as well as NHL Hockey which is set to resume on August 1st. Joe talks about the teams to watch and discusses the Capital's chances to win another Stanley Cup. In a word, he said the NHL season in 2020 will come down to "goaltending" and who is hot in net. We close the show out with teams to watch out for and how he will be calling the action from a remote location which will be a new experience for him as a broadcaster and for all of us as viewers.
