Today, get ready to retreat to this 60s version of the ultra-modern aesthetic. It's not just Mrs. Incredibles sweet caboose that loves this iconic A-frame Resort hotel, its the rest of the incredible cast too. why??? your guess is as good as ours, for a company that has been around for 100 years you would think that they would have more in the gas tank then to cram the only mid century modern family at their disposal into every room in the once technologically significant tower. You guessed it kiddies, were talking Disneys Contemporary Resort. So get your necks craned as you peep a 90-foot-tall mural by Disney Legend Mary Blair that celebrates the Grand Canyon and the American Southwest for some reason, and Mr. Iger, if you try to get rid of my favorite five legged donkey you will not like the result. Will the quote unquote dazzling pools (really Disney, dazzling, sheesh) and cheap retheming keep this no-tell motel in less than incredible company. Or, will the MK close proximity and the fact that a damn monorail slides into the hotels DMs every 15 minutes be enough to take this big concrete tent with all the bells and whistles up to the summit.
