At Age 14, Nicholas had the innovation bug and used theories of fluid dynamics to create his first snowboard prototype with a three dimensional base. Years later, Nicholas, now a middle school science teacher, blew the dust off his old snowboard prototype. With the help of his 6th grade students and Co-founder Austin Royer, Nicholas re-invented the snowboard and created a KILLER new brand - Gilson Snow.
