As we look at Exodus 20:1-2, we see that we are called to remember that the God who gives commands is the God who is also in a relationship with His people and frees them from slavery to sin. His commands are gracious as they show us how to live in a manner consistent with His design for us. May we be encouraged to remember these things and to give ourselves to the One who gave Himself to us.
