Overcoming the world: 1 John 5: 1-5
1. The Introduction: Are we overcoming the world God’s way?
1.1 Big Idea: To help us overcome the world God's way here are two truths from 1 John 5: 1-5 (1-5)
2. The first truth is: do we know God (1, 5)
3. The second truth is: are we obeying God’s Word (2, 3)
4. Conclusion: the exhortation: These two truths from 1 John 5: 1-5 to help us overcome the world God’s way: will we allow them to help us (1-5)
Reflection: How are you overcoming the world? Are you overcoming the world God’s way? Do you know God? Are you obeying God's Word to overcome the world? Is God's Word a lamp to your feet and a light to your path?
