The power of Scripture: Acts 8: 26-40
- The Introduction: Do we trust in the power of Scripture to save?
1.1 Big Idea:Here are two things from Acts ch8 vv26-40 to encourage us to trust the power of Scripture to save (26-40)
- The first thing is: because God is sovereign over people (26-31)
- The second thing is: because God is sovereign over Scripture (32-40)

- Reflection: Do you trust the power of Scripture to save? Knowing that God is sovereign over people, will you trust the power of Scripture to save? Knowing that God is sovereign over Scripture, will you trust the power of Scripture to save? Are you showing that you trust the power of Scripture to save by using it to witness to the unsaved?
