Description

Whose righteousness are we parading: Luke 18: 9-14

1. The Introduction: Whose righteousness do we parade in our Christian life; is it our own righteousness or is it Christ’s righteousness?

1.1 Big Idea: Let’s take a look at two types of righteousness from this parable in Luke ch18 vv9-14 to examine our own hearts to see if our own parade of righteousness will be justified before our heavenly Father (9-14)

2. The first parade of righteousness is a false righteousness (11-12)

3. The second parade of righteousness is a true righteousness (13-14)

4. Conclusion: the exhortation: Now that we have examined our hearts by looking at a parade of false righteousness and a parade of true righteousness from Luke ch18 vv9-14 – will our parade of righteousness be justified before our heavenly Father? (9-14)?

Reflection: Your parade of righteousness: is it a false parade or a true parade of righteousness? Will your parade of righteousness be justified before your heavenly Father?
