On this episode we dig into the meltdown that occurred last week when Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp all went down at the same time and how it disrupted the social media world. This led to a deep dive regarding our reliance on social media, how people scramble to other platforms like twitter to deal with the situation and the relationship media social media platforms and their audience in regards to how crises like these should be handled from a PR standpoint. We also start a new segment of Q&A where we answer any random questions you may have, this week spans everything from me explaining why I am not bullish on Uber's upcoming IPO and long term value as a stock all the way to the Aunt Becky bribing USC scandal and giving my thoughts on the phenomena of rich parents' obsession with colleges as a brand name much like high fashion rather than as a learning institution and recount what this experience was like for my old ass when dealing with my friends and their rich parents during the college application process a decade ago (because this obsession from parents ain't anything new, ya heard!).
