Diana Iracheta is a strong advocate for STEM, focused on the empowerment of women and Latinas in Engineering. She migrated from Monterrey, Mexico at age 12, and is the first one in her family to attend college in the United States. Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, and currently works as a Manufacturing Engineer, focused on automation design at Amsted Automotive.
Diana is the founder of Latina Engineer, the Diana Iracheta Foundation NFP, and the International Latina Engineer Week conference. Through her brand, organizations, and events, she has provided resources, support, role models, and scholarships for Latina students and young professionals.
