Who wants some plain vanilla with no chocolate drizzle or colorful sprinkles? This kind of Christianity leaves nothing “comely to be desired” by the flesh. The enemy wants to seduce us by our own ego and desires to sanctify ourselves, our greed and lusts, and our desire to exalt ourselves above one another. Obedience and love of the Lord and one another will keep our hearts aligned with the true will of God and deliver us from every seducing doctrine of devils.
