REPLACE is a PRINCIPLE of Self-Defense and Life Defense. Today in our discussion of Life Defense we speak of REPLACING weakness with power, to accomplish anything!

In Self-Defense, REPLACING an attacker’s lethal center and power is highly effective in throws and grappling. Additionally our very motion is most powerful when replacing the strength of our arms and shoulders with that of our center and legs. An example would be driving a strike all the way from mother earth, through your, legs and center delivered by your fist, vs relying on what can be generated by the arm alone…

REPLACE as a PRINCIPLE of Life Defense REPLACES the weak, unsupported, lethal excuses of life with being a series of powerful, connected, decisions, actions and results. On the mat of life, bad things do not happen seemingly “to us,” rather we choose our actions and take responsibility for all results as part of our experience of life itself.

Take for instance an obsession that I and my wife have for watching Netflix series, snacking, or the weight gain and lack of fitness that comes as a result from both. Yes, we both know that up to 2 hours a day of watching and snacking could be REPLACED by something powerful in our life that promotes strength, agility and overall health. However, until we actually go into action, just talking about it will not make a difference.

REPLACEMENT is an action. When we actually choose this action, powerfully many things in our lives can and probably would be replaced with something eminently more productive.

For me I am taking responsibility for my actions and I am REPLACING at least one weak, unproductive, or unhealthy thing a day to empower my life. When will I start? Today! And you…?
