Description

VARYING is the principle of motion and progression! No initial or continual motion occurs without VARYING weight, balance, technique, muscles groups, and strategies. To progress we need to VARY. The goal may remain the same however the path is a path of progression and that requires us to VARY.

In self-defense when we are stuck, meaning someone has us in a hold, delivering a barrage of strikes, or attempts to throw us we must VARY our position, weight, balance, or technique to survive. If they move to throw us one way, we move the other, if they go high we go low, if they speed up we slow down. Everything in life that has motion must VARY to continually move, or progress.

The name CrossFit has created a whole industry around VARYING  muscle groups, speed, and stress of its workouts to produce arguably to fittest people on the planet.

In Life Defense even things that work over long periods of time VARY eventually to keep up with technology, market trends and competition. When business does not VARY, it dies. Computing, once thought to be only useful for science and defense has now VARIED in its use to be worn on the wrist, play music, and make social connections.

The distinction of VARY is essential to survival and progress. In my life, I had an aortic dissection. Now I VARY my life style accordingly. With this attitude of VARYING people without legs run races, without arms or legs climb Mt Kilimanjaro, the blind see with their hands, speak with their hands and achieve things others only dream of accomplishing. 

Stop being stuck and VARY to progress, and move to accomplish everything in life!
