VITAL-POINT is where the least amount of energy makes the biggest difference in a VITAL way.
In self-defense VITAL-POINTs are where we strike and effects us as either a switch or timer. Meaning they either immediately make a drastic effect, like a switch, or over a short or longer period of time, they slow and eventually stop the attackers ability to attack, like a timer.
An example would be the throat, heart, hamstring, or solar plexus as a VITAL-POINT switch. When disruption occurs at these points immediate reaction, like a switch happens. The threat is neutralized in some fashion and the defender can break free or escape.
In Life Defense a VITAL -POINT in some cases may be the Internet cord or the wall power source. If gaming is threatening someones ability to live a functional life, or pornography is attacking their ability to move on with essential family living, disconnection of a cord is a VITAL-POINT disruption.
We spend a lot of time determining what is best to do. Focusing on VITAL-POINTS in any endeavor whether it’s deciding to live, how to interact with family, friends, coworkers or a person on the street… Even if nothing is said, understanding and listening from a VITAL-POINT position can turn a hostile circumstance into something else. But Allen, what about health issues and bed rest as a requirement? If bed rest is essential to living, stay in bed! That is not the VITAL-POINT that needs disruption at this time. However, a slow death of being alive, and not living might need a VITAL-POINT disruption.
In that case, stimulation of your mind, studying, calling friends and family, taking an online courses, or starting a non-profit to stop sex trafficking might be just the VITAL-POINT disruption or switch you need! Think of all that Stephen Hawking added to science by teaching us about Black Hole from his wheel chair!
VITAL-POINTS are what will effect your life immediately to bring about immediate transformation. In self-defense we can spend a lot of time punching some 350 lb. guy in the arm and NOT make much of a difference…However, a swift knee to the goin, or strike to an attacker's Adam’s Apple may be far more effective.
