Sometimes, God keeps us waiting longer than we expect on fulfilling His promises. Sometimes, we even get anxious about it enough to think that we need to do something about it ourselves. God is not slack as some men count slackness, though, and we need to be patient with Him as He gets done what He's doing in us through the waiting.
