Luke Johnson is the head Pastor at North Park Community Church. He joins me to discuss Deuteronomy 14:22-29. Luke breaks down some verses in the Old Testament in a way that we might not normally think about and will leave us challenged. Often on the podcast money and giving comes back to the heart. Luke gives a unique perspective on the heart when it comes to money, wealth, and possessions. He also shares how his upbringing and coming to faith later in life has been different from the situation he married into and how him and his wife try to incorporate family values that point to King Jesus. Finally, Luke shares the importance of meals and how that can play into stewarding others and how it demonstrates the lavishness and generosity that God has for us.
