This episode brings us to the time after the Resurrection, and before the Ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven. The promise of the coming of the Holy Ghost is going to be fulfilled in this time. Luke the physician is the author of this gospel. Acts 1:1-12, key verse 8. The Holy Ghost is the power to perform the Great Commission and the World-Wide Global campaign to be the witnesses for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Also Ref. Acts 2:1-12, and 1 Chronicles 12:1-2. These men who were ambidextrous could be analogous of the Saints being endued with the Holy Ghost. We have the ability to do over and above what the natural man can do. We ought to thank God for the great gift of The Holy Ghost!
