Raise your hand if this has ever happened to you:
you wake up. stretch. feeling good. reach for your phone, check ur notifications, open up social media, scroll....... scroll.......scroll.....then BAM. All of a sudden you're like who am i? what was i doing? what did i even wanna do? what did i wanna say???? agghhhhhh. Overwhelm to the max.
or maybe this:
you keep jotting down things that you see other people doing that looks pretty cool so you wanna do them too, but every time you look at the (ever growing) list of things to do... it just feels insanely daunting and although you really do feel like you need to do them, they're just not getting done cuz you're feeling all over the place and unable to figure out what to do first. Then you just fill will that dreaded not ever doing enough feelings. cycle. cycle. repeat.
well lemme tell you something- YOU ARE SO NORMAL!! Running a business is fucking haaaarrrrddddddd, and doing it solo is just downright fucked up sometimes. I get it. I toggled between these two scenarios 24/7 and it lead to some pretty epic burnout! My health suffered, my family suffered, my personal wellbeing suffered and my biz began to suffer. We really aren't made to do shit all by ourselves- even tho the experts love to pretend like they're all self made and maintained! Seriously- everyone goes through the dramatic ups and down of entrepreneurship and there is nothing wrong with asking for help.
Can we also normalize just being imperfect??? Like you do not need every detail in place before you just go for the thing. JUST DO IT MESSY! Seriously- you will never regret taking action!
