Fellow Georgia native John King chats about his latest release "Always Gonna Be You," memories of his Opry debut, and so much more! You may remember his Top 40 radio jam “Tonight Tonight” which was heard on weekly NFL recaps, but for the past few years, King has been working behind the scenes honing his craft as a songwriter. He earned his first No. 1 and ASCAP Award for Randy Houser’s “We Went,” and he wrote Hootie and The Blowfish’s 2019 comeback song “Rollin.” King co-wrote his entire album with standout songwriters like Paul DiGiovanni (Boys Like Girls, Justin Moore, Dan + Shay), Justin Wilson (Blake Shelton, Randy Houser), Leslie Satcher (George Strait, Martina McBride, Vince Gill) and others. ‘Always Gonna Be You’ tells personal, yet universal stories to the tune of modern-day twang and heartland hooks.
