I am an internist turned wellness MD, marathon runner and blogger in Houston, TX. I started running for stress relief as a medical student in my twenties but when I started racing in my thirties, I became hooked. I’ve completed 2 marathons, 5 half marathons and a ton of 5K and 10K races.
I’ve reached a pivotal point in my career where I am in transition from practicing traditional internal medicine (working in the hospital) to becoming a wellness MD who focuses on using movement, nutrition and meditation to treat common medical conditions as opposed to prescription drugs.
As I learn more about ways to improve my personal health and well-being, I hope to also help my patients live their healthiest life with fewer medications and physical limitations.
