The Lord Jesus Christ is going to be victorious over the world. He is going to triumph over evil and bring righteousness and godliness to earth. How do we know this for sure? Because the Scripture reveals it to us. This is the purpose of this great chapter: to show us that the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ over this world and its ungodliness is assured.
