As part of the Brussels Binder Beyond (BBBeyond) project, we've been building a pan-European network of like-minded organisations, think-tanks and women expert databases to foster an inclusive and solution-focused environment to promote women's visibility in media and policy debates.
We've been on the road, meeting up with other women-led initiatives to hear what they've been doing to combat the under-representation of women in their sectors and industries. So for the first episode of the #BBBeyond series, we met up with Roisin Duffy from Women on Air in Ireland where we discussed the lack of women's representation in media broadcasting but also how women's civil society and social movements have been taking up space in media.
