In this episode, Rebecca Gore and I chat about what it means to care for the widow in our church + otherwise, continuing to raise her children after her husband's passing, AND the hope that Rebecca has found on the other side of losing him.
To me, this is a special episode that I hope will encourage you to really think, but to also keep an eye out for those who have lost their spouse (or anyone who has experienced great loss) and really care for them in a way that is empowering them.
Rebecca is an author, a blogger, a widow, a mother, a speaker and a pastor from Southern Wisconsin! She also has a heart for missions. Rebecca released her first book Perspective: Seeing Life through the Eyes of Jesus in 2018 about seeing through His eyes no matter what your current view is. More recently, she had the opportunity to co-write the song “Still Wonderful” with the band, JohnnySwim.
