Description

Hockey season is in full swing, and we are celebrating our country’s beloved winter sport in this month’s episode featuring local hockey legend Eddie Bush. Learn about how his “never take defeat lying down” attitude led Eddie Bush to an extraordinary career and a lasting impact on our town.

After the story we give similar recognition to the late sports writer Scotty Carmichael who’s name now also fittingly resides on the Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame, and who served as the main source of information for this episode. We have a number of free copies of his book “Sports Personalities of Collingwood” that we would love to give out to our listeners. Just talk to our staff to get your copy while supplies last. And finally we ask for your suggestions for other worthwhile Collingwood athletes who’s stories deserve to be told. Let us know!
